Available accessories for the QuikRead go system include a printer, sets of labels for the printer, a barcode reader, an accumulator unit, software USB sticks, a workstation, a WLAN adapter and a serial connection cable for LIS/HIS connections.

QuikRead go system accessories make the system more efficient, more secure, and easier to use
The printer for QuikRead go system instruments is used for easy documentation of the test results. The label printer is connected to the instrument’s USB port using a USB cable. By choosing automatic printing in the settings, the instrument will automatically print the test result with relevant information. The set of labels includes two rolls of labels for the printer.
The barcode reader for QuikRead go Instrument can be used to read patient or operator identification.
QuikRead go Plus Instrument and QuikRead go Instrument software USB sticks are for updating the operating system software.
QuikRead go Instrument serial cable is used for connecting to the Laboratory Information System (LIS). The WLAN adapter is used for wireless LIS/HIS connections.
QuikRead go workstation can be used for storing and transporting opened reagent kit components. Suitable for all QuikRead go reagent kits.
The rechargeable battery enables QuikRead go Instrument to be used without a power cable. When the battery is attached to the instrument, charging takes place automatically when the instrument is connected to a power source.
QuikRead go is not registered in the USA.

Barcode reader for QuikRead go system Instruments
OPITCON OPI-3601 (Cat. No. 155389) 2D barcode reader can be used for easy patient ID and/or operator ID reading. Connect the barcode reader to one of the USB ports.
Other barcode readers can be used as well but QuikRead go Instrument recognizes these barcode readers as external keyboards. Customers need to configure such barcode reader to the same language as is used in QuikRead go Instrument.

How to take the printer into use?
GoDex DT4x printer is a plug-and-play accessory for QuikRead go system instruments. The printer must be calibrated every time after changing the label roll to ensure the correct label size (90 x 35 mm). For this, see the brief instructions (link below).

How to connect the barcode reader?
Opticon barcode reader is a plug-and-play accessory for QuikRead go Instrument. Configure the barcode reader to the same language that is chosen for QuikRead go system instruments. For this, see the Opticon Menu book and read the codes for:
- SET
- Your language
- END
If any characters are not read as they are written, select the barcode(s) in use in your laboratory go through the same procedure as with selecting the language.
