Acro Strep A rapid tests are rapid chromatographic immunoassays for the qualitative detection of Strep A antigens from throat swab specimens.
Acro Strep A rapid tests are qualitative lateral flow immunoassays for the detection of Strep A antigens in throat swab specimens. The test can be used to aid in the diagnosis of Group A Streptococcal infection. Streptococcal pharyngitis is often difficult to distinguish from viral infection, and rapid tests are a fast and cost-effective way to detect Strep A infections accurately. The test is available in dipstick or cassette format. The test kit contains necessary test materials, as well as negative and positive controls. Test results are ready after 5 minutes.
